Quality meals in our cosy bar

The bar is a popular gathering place for guests, passing visitors and locals alike. Homely and very high quality pub grub too – for instance: mussels, venison sausages and mash, apple tart - alongside soups, salads and pasta. There is also a daily "Specials" menu taking advantage of local, fresh and seasonal ingredients.

You also might be lucky to catch an evening of live music such as Jacob’s Pillow, a terrific funky folk band who have performed for us in the past. There is also a wealth of "homegrown" traditional talent in the area which can result in a spontaneous "ceilidh" - you never know when!
